What is Identity Management?
Identity Management refers to the process of controlling the information about users or computers: authentication, information access and actions authorized.
Managed identities include users, hardware, network resources and applications.
A common example would the multiple tasks and agents involved in the process of hiring/firing an employee where is necessary to grant/revoke permits on multiple entities: e-mail, remote access, mobile phone, applications.
